Santa’s Motorbike Tour – Saturday 13 December
This Saturday 13 December at 10:30, Alicante will see one of its most cheerful Christmas traditions roll through the city, as more than 400 motorcyclists dressed as Father Christmas take part in the Papanoelada Solidaria.
📍 Start: Dead end between Calle Río Júcar and Avenida de Neptuno
🏁 Finish: Near the Pitiu Rochel Sports Hall (San Blas area)
As part of the route, the Santas will pass Mercado Central, continue towards Plaza Luceros, head down Avenida Federico Soto, then along Avenida Maisonnave, before climbing towards San Blas where the ride will finish.
Timings along the route can’t be guaranteed, but with the ride starting at 10:30, you can expect them in the city centre from around 10:45 onwards.
The aim is simple and genuinely worthwhile: collecting new toys to be distributed to families in vulnerable situations across the city. The ride is organised by the Department of Social Welfare, LUMA (Liga Unión Motoristas Alicante) and Ángeles Guardianes.
It’s going to be quite a spectacle — hundreds of Santas on motorbikes, rolling through the heart of Alicante for a very good cause.
