Whats on in Alicante this weekend has a slightly different feel, with Semana Santa just days away (starting on Palm Sunday) and the city beginning to shift towards one of its most important periods of the year.
From Friday, you’ll be able to pick up the official Semana Santa programme from the tourist information office near the beach. It’s worth having if you want to plan ahead. If you’re not familiar with how it all works, this guide explains it clearly:

It’s also been a positive week more generally, with Alicante recently named one of the happiest places to live in Spain, which feels about right if you’ve spent any time here recently.
