Whats on in Alicante December 22–28 covers one of the most distinctive weeks of the year: the final days before Christmas, Christmas Day itself, and the gentle restart that follows. It’s a week of concerts, children’s traditions, seasonal events and long walks, mixed with a few opportunities for late nights if that’s your thing.
Much of Alicante’s official Christmas programme is still running, but this is also a good week to enjoy the city at a slower pace.

(Navalia – Port area) Navalia hosts a small Christmas village aimed mainly at younger children, with Santa visits, craft stalls and festive decorations. Entry to Navalia is free.
There is a paid synthetic skating rink and a paid virtual‑reality experience on site. Skating here is more plastic than glide; families looking for proper ice skating should consider Elche instead (see below).

Discoteca Wilson
(Centro, near Plaza Séneca) Calle Pintor Aparicio A long‑established nightclub popular with a 50+ crowd, mixing Latin music, table service and a distinctly old‑school sense of glamour — glitterballs rather than glow sticks. Despite its civilised feel, the dance floor can get properly packed; the Spanish love a party.
We’ve been ourselves and had great fun there. It felt lively, friendly and refreshingly grown‑up, with people there to dance rather than pose.
Usually open Friday and Saturday nights until around 04:00, but Christmas opening times should be checked in advance.
Sala Stereo
(Centro, near Mercado Central) Carrer Pintor Velázquez Live music venue and late‑night club.
